As the sun shines down I think of you
Of everything that was taken from you
When i look at this beautiful day
I only wish that you could see
things right now beautiful to me
the flowers are blooming so
with beautiful fragrances bestowed
as the trees wonderfully show
in the basking new sunlight glow
a new shade of green never before seen
only in this moment is given to me
this wonderous sight to see
As the night finds it way
I see beauty of this day
Wishing i could share this with you
I find a time to sit and think
of something wise to say but I fink
and then this is laid in ink.
