I Play

Dark is the light you give.
Yet in your light I live.
You’re foolish for you’re goodness.
In the music I play for you or others is tuneless.
I play for me I play for myself.
I may love you, but I play for no one else.
It’s so easy for the world to know and love you.
I only get broken dreams and in that pain and loss I play.
To my darken days.
I feel the music deep down come up and dance just for me
in a world that could do with out me.
